System Analysis & Development – La Trinidad – Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office

This transformative project sought to enhance the capacity of LTDRRMO to inclusively disseminate information to a broader audience.

With React Native on EXPO we developed iPhone / Android app for assisting people to prepare for disasters.

The La Trinidad Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office is the local government unit responsible for strengthening disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts within the municipality of La Trinidad. It coordinates early warning systems, risk assessments, and emergency response operations for hazards such as typhoons, landslides, earthquakes, floods, and volcanic activity. The office also works closely with barangays and community stakeholders to improve resilience, conduct disaster education campaigns, and ensure that evacuation plans and emergency resources are effectively implemented before, during, and after disasters..

This application was designed to support the community of La Trinidad in Benguet Province, Philippines, in preparing for frequent natural disasters such as landslides, typhoons, earthquakes, flooding, and volcanic eruptions. It enables fast offline access to evacuation center information and essential survival resources, ensuring critical support remains available even without internet connectivity.
